Hence the name of St.Joseph was given to the girl’s school and the name of our Lady of Fatima was given to the boy’s school.

In 1954, on 18th June St.Joseph Nursery School was started by the Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Jacob Palliampalli in the place opposite to St.Rosary Church in a small building with few girls. The school was slowly constructed with the help of local eminent persons. It was upgraded as middle school in 1963. In 1997 the recognition for starting high school was obtained from the Education Department.
