Aim and Objectives
To focus on women education Especially in the rural areas. All round Development of students, physical, mental and spiritual growth.
History of the School
Shri Hindocha Charitable Trust Hr. Sec. School was established on June 13, 1979 with 28 children and 2 staff members of staff club of Ariyur Sugar Mill.
Mr. Lalji Bai Hindocha, the Director of the Trust had built the new building and inaugurated on December 19, 1979. The most Rev. Dr. V.S.Selvanathar, Arch Bishop of Pondy – Cuddalore graciously blessed the school building. Later, he donated the school to the sisters of the Immaculate Congregation. At present, the trust is transferred to the congregation.
Rev. Mo. John Britto Mary, the First Headmistress, served this institution for 13 years. The School was elevated to the status of Middle School in 1984 and High school in 1988. It was recognized as Aided School in 1998. In view of the welfare of the neighborhood students, the school was upgraded to the Higher Secondary in 1998.
Special Awards in Sports
- 30.05.2014 National Karate championship was held at New Delhi from 30th May to 1 st June. J. Manikandan of X std and P. Boomika of VIII std participate and they have received participation certificate.
- 29.05.2014 State Level cricket competition was held at Pondicherry University on 29.05.2014. E. Balaji and V. Vimal of XI std participated and won the second place.
- 28.05.2014 State level kabaddi competition was conducted at Indira Gandhi Stadium on 28.5.2014. E. Ezhilarasan of XI – A and S. Rathinavel of Xi-B took part in that and won the first place.
- 07.01.2015 to 11.01.2015 D. Muralidharan of IX std took part in National level Tennikoit Tournament which was held at Vidhyadhar Nagar Stadium in Jaipur Rajasthan and he won third place. He received merit certificate and cash award.
- 12.01.2015 to 13.01.2015 Athletic Zonal level interschool competition was conducted at Indira Gandhi sports stadium, Uppalam on 12th and 13th January. Surya Praveen of IX std participated in 100 mts running and he won second prize.
- 31.01.2015 State level Kabadi competition was conducted at Indira Gandhi Sports stadium on 31st January and 1 st February. Our school Junior Boys S. Sasikumar and P. Chandru of X std took part in that and they won second place.
- 19.02.2015 to 20.02.2015 IV Zonal level inter shool kabaddi tournament was conducted by the Department of sports, Puducherry on 19th and 20th February. Our school sub – Junior Boys under 14 years participated and they won the first prize.
