Chronicles
Periyanayagi Morning Star H.School for the speech and hearing impaired was established in 1994 and is running successfully by the sisters of congregation of Franciscan sisters of immaculate heart of mary, Pondicherry in 2008, after 15 years of successful running recognition was given by this Tamil Nadu Government.
The School had a humble beginning with 7 deaf children. Now there are 93 deaf children studying in this school from the first standard to Xth Standard. The School has sent 8 batches for the SSLC examination. They have always obtained 100% results. They are good at sports and games. They are also talented in drawing and painting.
Staff
The school has 11 teachers and 5 non-teaching staff 6 teachers are fully qualified with special Diploma to teach the deaf students.
